Rock The Bells Line Up Announcement - Recap
2013 marks the 10 year anniversary for the Rock The Bells music Festival. Yesterday, we were able to attend the press conference for this years line up. Were exited to announce the acts who will be rockin the event. View the list below:
The press conference opened with host, Peter Rosenburg, of Hot 97, who revealed a few key people who will be performing at the festival.
The attendees of the conference included SchoolBoy Q, Kendrick Lamar, J Rock, Bone Thugs and Harmony, U-God of Wu-Tang Clan, Jhene Aiko, Tech N9ne, SuperNatural, the Mother of ODB and the Late wife Tomica Wright of Easy E, and a few others. As the guest were revealed, Supernatural spit an entire freestyle on the rest of the line up, naming each artist through his rhyme. Probably the biggest announcement for this years line up is the hologram ODB to perform with Wu-Tang and hologram Easy-E to perform with Bone Thugs.
Following the conference , there were performances from Tech N9ne, U-God, a freestyle from Supernatural, and an epic set from Bone Thugs and Harmony.
Tech N9ne set it off with mad energy and gave the crowd a sample of what was to come for his RTB performance. He rocked a couple songs and ended the set with an acapella.
U-God of the Wu-Tang clan and Supernatural joined the stage together as U-God spit a quick 16 from a classic Wu record, Supernatural followed up with a freestyle as he took items from the crowd to use as topics for his rhymes.
Last was the surprise performance from Bone Thugs and Harmony. They killed their set with all their classic records. Performing “Foe the love of $” featuring Easy E, “Thug love” Ft Tupac , and “Lets Ride” ft B.I.G to name a few. Overall they teared down the show and got me hyped on this years festivities.
